Movie Marathon | Eclipse (An appreciation post)

Just before the year 2011 ends, I would like to post these photos. Well, another appreciation post, but this time, about The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. For me, this is I guess the second or third movie I liked from the series. Well, the first one goes to Breaking Dawn of course (if you've watched it, you'll know why). Anyway, here are the scenes I've liked from the movie Eclipse...

Movie Marathon | Disney Movies Part 4 (Cinderella Trilogy + Pocahontas)

Last night, I finished these movies alone. I downloaded it the other day, and that's just when I found out that Cinderella has a Part III, which is called "A Twist In Time" which was released February 2007. Part II, which is called "Dreams Come True" was released February of the year 2002...

The Secret Garden (An appreciation post)

The Secret Garden (An appreciation post)

Who does remember this hit Korean TV series called Secret Garden? I do. My sister and I went gaga over this series, that I even downloaded it! Although I wasn't able to finish downloading all episodes because dang, it'll take me some time! Thanks to my Hubby for giving me the complete copy of this series with English subtitles, I got to watch it's the last episode before it even air on Philippine primetime (GMA 7). :">

Movie Marathon | "One Day" (2011)

Last Sunday (December 25), I've blogged about the movie my Sister and I watched together--"One Day" starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. Although it didn't show us a happy ending, it did give us a lot of realizations. I can say that this too, is a good watch. I've captured some of the scenes in the movie, and you might want to check out some nice words from this chick flick. :)

Movie Marathon | Disney Movies Part 3: The Lion King I and II, Lilo & Stitch and Peter Pan

So yeah, this is the part 3 post for my nostalgia over Disney Movies. If you'll ask me how I spent my Christmas Vacation, I would happily answer with "Disney Movies!", all smiles! Hohoho.

Movie Marathon | One Day

Just finished the movie One Day starring Anne Hathaway, as requested by my sister...

Movie Marathon | Disney Movies Part 2: A Bugs' Life, Aladdin, and more

Done watching these four Disney Movies! In order: A Bug's Life, Aladdin, Mickey's Christmas Carol, and The Little Mermaid! I was really determined to finish most of my movies before this year ends since I am on vacation too. This is the follow-up post to Nostalgia: Disney Movies Part I. These are my appreciation posts for Disney Movies, and how I feel so nostalgic every time I watch one! :)

Life Hacks | 30 Things to Stop Doing to Yourself

"When you stop chasing the wrong things you give
the right things a chance to catch you."

As Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”  Nothing could be closer to the truth.  But before you can begin this process of transformation you have to stop doing the things that have been holding you back.

New Girl | "The 23rd"

Episode 9: The 23rd, is epic!!! =))) The episode consists of mixed emotions/reactions.
More like :( and =)))))))))))

Nick’s being so :))))))) While Paul and Jess are :(((((((
Oh well. I wonder what’s gonna happen between Paul and Jess… and Nick? Some kind of a love triangle thing.

Movie Marathon | Disney Movies Part 1: Beauty and the Beast + Cinderella

Last December 4, 2011, I decided to watch three Disney Movies--101 Dalmatians, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella. I was hoping to watch Snow White after, but I have no time since I've got classes the next day. I was feeling nostalgic about these Disney movies; it makes me miss the 90's. My childhood, for we used to watch a lot of cartoons and animes back then--even until now, but of course back then, my age suits those interests of mine better. Unlike now that I will be turning 20 and be saying goodbye to my teenage years, yet I still love cartoons very much. Oh, the good old days...

Movie Marathon | Friendship (2008 Thai Movie starring Mario Maurer)

The other day, I watched another Mario Maurer film. Yes, in Thai. But of course, it has English subs! I won't dare watch a Thai film without any English subs in it. Haha! So there. I think, I like this movie better than The Love of Siam, which I was able to watch during the weekend. From the title itself, the movie is about friendship (hence, Friendship/เฟรนด์ชิพ เธอกับฉัน) between Singha (Mario Maurer) and Mituna.

Movie Marathon | Love of Siam (Director's Cut)

Yesterday, I was home alone all day, that's why I decided to entertain myself. I watched episodes 4 and 5 of New Girl, although I've already watched the 4th. I just love the Naked--4th episode! Don't get me wrong okay. It's my favorite because Zooey Deschanel/Jess Day was freaking hilarious and adorkable! Haha. Best episode so far. After watching it, I watched an episode from Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, then watched Mario Maurer's first movie ever and probably the most controversial one--The Love of Siam.

Movie Marathon | Princess Protection Program (2009)

princess protection program, selena gomez, demi lovato

Remember back when Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato used to be BFFs, and they both are still on Disney Channel? I do. However, gone are those days. Good thing you can still watch their projects together! Read on for my favorite lines from the TV movie Princess Protection Program. Such a feel-good movie! A must-watch with your BFF. :)

Movie Marathon | How Do You Know + Final Destination 3

I thought today is a good day for a movie marathon since the weather's too nice to just lay in bed all day. But unfortunately, I woke up around 1 am already, that's why I wasn't able to watch movies before lunchtime.

Movie Marathon | Five Movies In One Day: Alice in Wonderland, The Other Boleyn Girl, and more

We Filipinos value the day November 1, simply because this is the day that we honor and remember our dear loved ones who passed away. Most Filipinos spend their holiday (November 1, 2011) at the cemetery to visit their late loved ones; while some, spend it at tourist spots in and out of the country. But as for me and my family, we usually spend it at home--to relax and offer our late loved ones a prayer, as part of the All Saints Day.

10 goals for myself

One night, when I wasn't able to sleep, I've thought about things. Things I want to change to be able to apply to myself...for the better. So I came up with my "10-point-goal for myself" and here it goes...

Some alone time at the library

Yes, what happened today was a bit unexpected. First off, I went to school today to pass my case analysis for my OJT. Though the deadline was the next day, I decided to submit it today since I've got plans. I decided to go to school with my sister after lunch. Her next class was still at 3:45 pm, so I asked her to just be with me before her class starts. She insisted that we should go to the library because her friends were there. I agreed, in one condition--if she'll sit with me instead of her friends.

Movie Marathon | Get A Clue & Juno

Get A Clue movie, lindsay lohan

Recently, I've been watching a lot of movies--chick flicks mostly. For today, I've watched two movies--Get A Clue starring Lindsay Lohan, and Juno starring Ellen Page and Michael Cera. I've only finished two movies since I've been sleeping almost all day ever since I finished my internship. :))

Movie Marathon | 10 Things I Hate About You

I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car.
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme.
I hate it, I hate the way you’re always right.
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you’re not around, and the fact that you didn’t call.
But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you.
Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

—  Kat, 10 Things I Hate About You

Books

And this is how I've been spending my days--BOOKS.
I’ve been spending a lot of my time at the office by reading. What do you expect from sitting in the same chair all day wondering what to do. What else to do since I’ve done all my task for the day.
I’ve read Nicholas Sparks’ A Walk to Remember and The Notebook, and just this morning, I started re-reading Stephenie Meyer’s Eclipse. I still got a week more at the office and I’m running out of novels to read. Time to go book hunting, I guess.

Playing God

I can't make my own decisions, or make any with precision. Well, maybe you should tie me up. So I don't go where you don't want me. You say that I been changing, that I'm not just simply aging. Yeah, how could that be logical? Just keep on cramming ideas down my throat.

You don't have to believe me. But the way I, way I see it. Next time you point a finger I might have to bend it back, or break it, break it off. Next time you point a finger, I'll point it to the mirror.

If God's the game that you're playing, well, we must get more acquainted. Because it has to be so lonely, to be the only one who's holy. It's just my humble opinion, but it's one that I believe in. You don't deserve a point of view, if the only thing you see is you.

The message from this song, tells it all. Nice job, Williams, Farro, and Taylor. This song goes out to all those who are "playing god". ;)

If the shoe fits...

Magkusa kang magpaliwanag,
sasabihin, defensive at guilty ka.
'Wag ka magpaliwanag,
sasabihin pa rin, guilty ka.

Mabuti nang manahimik,
wag na lamang pansini't umimik.
Hayaan na lamang sila dumada ng dumada,
hanggang sa lumawit kanilang mga dila.

Di maintindihan, kasi di pinapaintindi?
Kung gusto talagang maintindihan,
noon pa sana'y nagtanong na
kung ano man siyang problema.

Mabuti nang manahimik.
Ipag-walang bahala, mga may saltik.
Nakatipid pa ng laway at kuryente,
kesa masayang sa pagpapaliwanag,
kakapaintindi sa mga taong
sarado ang isip sa katotohanan
at puro na lamang kababawan,
siyang pinaghuhugutan.

Puna. Puna. Puna.
Puro na lamang mga puna sa nakikita,
maski di naman karapat-dapat.

Nagkulang daw nang itinimbang.
Bakit, ang inyo ba hindi?

'Wag mainis.
Di ako nagmamalinis.
Sadyang ugali mo'y lihis.
Di makuha sa magandang bihis,
ugali mong marungis.

Walang nagbago,
nauntog lamang sa bato.
Nagising sa katotohanang bakit ganto.

'Wag tamaan, yaring mga bulaan.
Di ito garapalan.
Walang personalan.
Pawang kaisipan lamang.

He just gives some badass and witty pieces of advice to people.

From straight to curly hair

Bakit kapag wavy/curly ang buhok mo, nagpapa-straight ka.

Tapos kapag straight na ang buhok mo, magpapa-kulot ka naman.
Bat ganon? LOL.

Organizational Development | What I learned from class

Organizational Development What I learned from class
Organizational Development  What I learned from class

So we had this confrontation earlier this afternoon after our exam for Organizational Development. A serious one, I can say. Some of us were even shouting, then ended up crying. What happened earlier was quite intense. This has happened before among us. Whenever one’s being too much to handle for the 5 of us, we’re having this “confrontation”.
