Food-ventures: Banapple at Tuscany, McKinley Hill

Ever since I became on the mid shift for work, I would wake up by lunchtime and have brunch (breakfast and lunch) past 2 pm. Sometimes even at 4 pm, so when I eat, I eat a lot. This Tuesday (October 7) though, it was another impromptu brunch date with the boyfriend. Sometimes, when we're running out of time to have brunch together (because he's also on the mid shift), he accompanies me to work, then I'll spend my one hour break with him. This time, we went all the way to Tuscany Estates at McKinley Hill. Although I work just around the area, it's still a few minutes of walk, under the blazing sun...

Even though I'm just in the area, I've been at Banapple only for the second time--and like the first time, I have always felt cozy here. Probably because of the homey feel, the pastel colors and the aromatic smell of pies!

Even the staircase is picturesque!

Banapple is a good place to eat, and have a talk with your colleagues or friends while on a break.

Banapple is known for their Banoffee pie, but they serve hot dishes, pies and cheesecakes, savory pies and pastries too!

I had Breaded Fillet of Cream Dory with Honey-Thyme Mustard Sauce, whilst the boyfriend had Garlic Beef Tapa with Creamed Parsley Eggs (no photo). It was delicious, and satisfying too--which is why we did not have a dessert. Maybe next time!

Here are my failed attempts at having a silhouette feel... LOL. Anyway, if you're near McKinley and want to give Banapple a try, they're located at Tuscany Estates, McKinley Hill. Just a few walks away from Venice Piazza. :)
