MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam lipstick in Viva Glam III review + swatches

Brand: MAC Cosmetics
Product: Viva Glam III lipstick
Finish: Matte
Price: Php 1,000

Ever since Kylie Jenner started flaunting her "fuller lips" and wearing vampy lipsticks, I started too, joining the bandwagon. She's into wearing dark lipsticks--plum, black, oxblood, dark nudes, etc. Kylie soon began my peg when it comes to choosing my next color of lipstick. And this lip color is definitely my first Kylie Jenner-lip-color peg.

This is my very first MAC Cosmetics lipstick, by the way, that's from the Viva Glam collection. It's actually a charity. How? All of the sales from this line is going for the HIV research. Now that is true beauty: whilst you're being beautiful, you also helped the funding for the research. Win-win situation.

I am so much into MAC's Matte lipsticks because out of all the lipsticks that I've tried from different brands, they have the longest lasting ones.

The good thing about MAC Cosmetics' Viva Glam collection is that it comes in its own special tube, in red accents as support for the HIV campaign. And of course, this is permanent! Yay! But do not be confused, as this is a different line from the Rihanna Viva Glam collection--that one is a limited edition. (It's out now by the way!)

When worn

MAC Viva Glam III is a dark rose nude that sometimes comes off plum-ish and has a warm undertone. It's matte, but not as matte as the Russian Red, and definitely not as matte as Ruby Woo which is a retro matte. This matte lipstick is actually a bit creamy, but still long lasting.

I wear this lipstick with a peach blush to add life and color to my face,
because this is a dark vampy lipstick.

Are you into vampy lipsticks as well? If yes, what shades are your favorites? :)
