I have always loved the songs Forever 21 plays on their stores--who doesn't?? They play electronic, retro, vintage, feel-good and indie pop--which is my thing! That's one of many reasons why I love shopping at that store. Anyway, going back to the artist, her song was one of the songs included in that playlist. When I heard it, I immediately felt the need to groove to it--but resisted, because I was at work when I heard it. Won't prolong the backstory behind this artist, so yeah, she's Betty Who! Betty? Who? Yep, you read that right--it's Betty Who.

Etude House released a multi-purpose makeup pencil available in various colors, but I only got #1. Actually, I think my Uncle or a saleslady from Etude House Korea got it wrong, because I was actually aiming for Play Color Eyes #1 palette. But since it's here, might as well use it. Food-ventures: Banapple at Tuscany, McKinley Hill

Ever since I became on the mid shift for work, I would wake up by lunchtime and have brunch (breakfast and lunch) past 2 pm. Sometimes even at 4 pm, so when I eat, I eat a lot. This Tuesday (October 7) though, it was another impromptu brunch date with the boyfriend. Sometimes, when we're running out of time to have brunch together (because he's also on the mid shift), he accompanies me to work, then I'll spend my one hour break with him. I previously posted about the movie "Begin Again" a few weeks ago, and until now, their official soundtrack still got me hooked. Who wouldn't?? With Adam Levine's influence (don't get me wrong, the guy can really sing!) plus a very unique sound that this album has to offer, I'm pretty sure you'll have the last song syndrome to at least one or two songs.

Ever since the movie Project X (2012), it seems like Miles Teller was always on the big screen—the guy practically has more than two movies in a year! For 2013, he was the lead for The Spectacular Now along with Shailene Woodley; and then there's another movie called 21 & Over. For 2014, he was in Whiplash; That Awkward Moment with Zac Efron and Michael B. Jordan; he was also in Divergent with Shailene Woodley again; and this movie, Two Night Stand with Annaleigh Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love).

It's been a while since I posted on this blog of mine, so allow me to share my thoughts about this movie I just watched yesterday/last night--since it took me and the boyfriend a while to finish this, because we decided to watch it while on their way to his sister's birthday celebration.

So, let's get down to business. If you've been listening to the radio or if you're using Spotify app to listen to music--and have come across the Top 100 Songs playlist, chances are, you also came across with this new Adam Levine song entitled "Lost Stars". Since it's good, it leaves you wanting for more, and wondering and asking "What album is this from?"

Saturday night, I was told (by told, I meant I was asked--and that I have to come. lol) by the boyfriend that he and his family will celebrate his younger brother's birthday at Pansol, Laguna the following day until Monday, which is a holiday. We were both supposed to attend a birthday party, but since it was his brother's birthday celebration, it is the priority.

Movie Marathon | The Giver (2014)

The Giver is a 2014 movie based on the book of the same title by Lois Lowry. It's one of those YA fiction novels about rebellion and teenagers or young adults who fight for what's right. There's The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth and The Host by Stephenie Meyer.

What's amazing, is how star-studded this movie is. Featuring Jeff Bridges as The Giver, Meryl Streep as the Chief Elder (president), Brenton Thwaites as Jonas (the next "Giver"), Alexander Skarsgard as Jonas' Father, Katie Holmes as Jonas' Mother, Odeya Rush as Fiona (the love interest), Cameron Monaghan as Asher and Taylor Swift as Rosemary (The Givers' daughter) among others.
