Kapitolyo is one of the most popular gastronomic hubs in the country. Fortunately for us, we just live nearby so we get to indulge ourselves in good food from time to time, and even check out what's new before everybody else. Like the newly-opened The Vantage Gallery.

The Vantage Gallery is a three-story lifestyle building located at 23 West Capitol Drive (near Capitol Commons).

On the first floor is Heima, where you can check out their special sales, events, and even design consultations. The first floor was like a showroom — one where all my stylish house dreams are made of.

The staff was nice. They escorted us to the elevator even though we were just headed to the second floor where UCC Clockwork is located.

The husband and I decided to have brunch at UCC Clockwork since they offer an all-day breakfast menu, plus we haven't checked the area out yet.

We got there at around 12 noon so the place is packed. There are available seats outside (balcony area), but it was scorching hot, so we opted to sit at the bar instead. Thankfully, a couple left so we were transferred to a better seat.

The place is nice. Perfect for having lunch with the family, get together with friends over coffee, or casual business meetings (we actually saw one; they met up to discuss potentially buying a condominium unit at The Vantage Kapitolyo).

I ordered the Marinated Milkfish and ordered an Iced Mocha Latte for me to get me through a long day.

The husband asked for the Fresh Corned Beef with Kimchi Rice and Cappuccino.

Our coffees arrived first, and it's good. The food though took quite a while to prepare... I thought it was worth the wait, but...

...when it arrived, the Marinated Milkfish didn't even taste like it's marinated. It lacked taste actually so I just asked for vinegar just to have a little flavor in it.

The husband, on the other hand, was satisfied with his food and coffee.

After we finished eating, the staff approached us and handed us two free bottled iced coffees for us to try. Not bad. So anyway, check out more photos from that day.
