I mentioned in my previous post about the boyfriend and I's day out. Part of our date last weekend was shopping, and I was so happy because I finally got to buy this amazing concealer that I've been reading good reviews about. I thought it wasn't available in the leading shopping malls, but it was! However, like any other person trying out something new, I was quite hesitant if this will work out for me. Apart from having lots of concealer in my quest to find what will work for me, I'm afraid that this will cause my skin to break out or it will simply don't work.

I was just too happy that I was able to buy L.A. Girl's PRO.conceal HD High Definition Concealer. I was hoping they'll have the orange one, because I was looking for something to cover up some of the redness in my face due to pimple marks and my eye bags. Hehe.

I know, it's been a week since I bought this baby, but I was only able to try it today. I started with my peeling treatment again for my skin's rejuvenation so there's redness all over my face and you can notice the skin peeling. Today was all about running errands and I don't want to look haggard or sickly. Part of my peeling treatment was avoiding the use of makeup on my skin, but since I'm going out to meet people, I needed to.

Just to give you an idea, the above photo shows how I look like nowadays with my peeling treatment ongoing and without any makeup. I looked pale but had this lingering redness on my cheeks caused by the medicine. I can't be seen by the people I'm meeting like this! I just had to wear makeup! That's when I thought of using my new concealer. I thought, "let's see how good and how HG worthy this product is."

The L.A. Girl PRO.conceal HD High Definition concealer weighs 0.28 ounce. Quite small, but a little goes a long way. It has a built in brush applicator which is convenient, but can be quite unsanitary after several use...

When it was time to use it, I squeezed it a couple of times so the concealer will come out in the brush applicator. So many times that I got frustrated and tried to forcefully remove the brush applicator just so I can apply the concealer peacefully--but failed. So I just patiently squeezed it and hoped it will come out.

Thankfully and finally, it did come out--but of very little amount. Since I really wanted to use it earlier today, I just settled and squeezed it hard enough for the concealer to come out generously.

If you look closely, you can see light peeling of skin on my forehead...

And so, after patiently squeezing, I was able to put concealer on certain areas of my face with redness on it, and on my eye bags. In all fairness, it helped reduce the visibility of my dark and saggy under eye and the redness of my skin was neutralized. The peeling of my skin was also almost unnoticeable! Photos below. :)

Not any trace of redness and skin peeling, right?!! I was very careful applying the concealer as a little rubbing on my face can cause the skin to peel off more. I didn't even put foundation all over my face, just dabs of it and yet I look fine. :)

So....
Is it effective? YES!
Was it worth the price? YES!
Did it last longer than all of my existing concealers? YES!
Will I buy again and/or try other variants? YES, YES, YES!
I mean, if you still aren't convince that this is an HG, then look at the photo above. And compare it to the photo below. :)
