#HowToBeYouPo: The Guide to Blogging
November 12, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm
@ The Open Space, Makati

We live in the digital age wherein everything is easily shared in various social media channels. In fact, most people can't live without their phones, tablets, laptops and most especially, their internet connections. With the easy access to these things, we get to connect with people all over the world; some even use this to reach out to people and inspire. What better way to do both? Blogging!

Nowadays, it's so easy to create a blog, buy your own domain and build your website from scratch. With technology everywhere, we now have smartphones with amazing camera specifications that are enough to start photography--heck, we can even blog in those things!

Back in 2009, I started this blog without having a clear vision of what I wanted it to be. I had several blogs on Tumblr (Does anybody here know what Tumblarity was?), Wordpress, Friendster Blogs, Livejournal, Posterous, etc, etc. I was in my second year in college and was just looking for someplace to share my thoughts other than writing in a journal (I did it before but I just can't maintain it!). It was also a place for me to exercise my writing since it was a passion of mine ever since I was in grade school. Back then, I did not know anything about HTML or having my own domain. I was just existing in this small place, my own space in this worldwide web. Blogging was just about that during those days--sharing your thoughts and feelings.

Fast forward to the latter part of the 2010s, most people know what a blog is. In fact, most teens and young adults follow or read a certain blog; some even have a blog of their own. Now if you're one of the many people who are interested in blogging but do not know how or where to start--you're lucky. Because thanks to CreativeXOO, you have the opportunity to learn the basics and the essentials in building your own blog with the famous bloggers themselves!

So mark your calendars and save as early as now because there are only limited slots per workshop! Remember that each person needs to register first as there are no walk-ins accepted. To register, go to this link or you may get in touch with me through my social media accounts or via my Contact Me form found in my blog for better assistance.
