I don't know about yours, but the month of March for me went by so effing fast - I didn't even get the chance to savor each day. LOL, but I'm not kidding. March threw a lot of opportunities to me (and I'm thankful!) and like the career driven woman that I am, I grabbed every single one of them. Even though I was tired and sleepy every single day, now that it's April, I'm just relieved, happy and feeling that sense of accomplishment at least. So anyway, here goes my monthly playlist!
Let's cut to the chase, shall we? Now on to my favorites!
- "Something Like This" by The Chainsmokers & Coldplay - Okay, this was a complete shocker. Both are amazing artists of their own decades, but who knew both of these artists from totally different genres would collaborate? And boy, does it sound amazing!
- "Slide" by Calvin Harris feat. Frank Ocean and Migos - Definitely my summer anthem! I've always loved Calvin Harris ever since his 2012 album, 18 Months. And Frank Ocean's voice tho!!!
- "Feels" by Kiiara - I really felt all the emotions when I watched Kiiara perform this live. Since then, this became my favorite song of hers.
- "pink skies" by LANY - Although I wasn't able to go to this year's Wanderland due to fatigue, I got by with this new song from them~
- "Andromeda" by Gorillaz - Hail to Gorillaz' new song!!! FINALLY.
- "Mo Bounce" by Iggy Azalea - Our resident cool girl is back! Lovin' the beats, Iggy!
- "Passionfruit" by Drake - My current favorite!! Just didn't like Drake's foreword. I think it kinda ruins the vibe of this very tropical-ish song. But overall, I love it! In fact, it's my current ringtone. :)
