I love quality-but-affordable makeup brushes. And as much as I want to bring all the brushes I would need with me, I can't because that would probably be about half of the makeup brushes I owned. Which is why I really looked for a versatile and retractable brush for a lady who's always on the go like me. Fortunately, I found the right one at the right price!
So I found this Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush around the time freyja's online store launched. Aside from it was all-pink in color, I was also curious with the newest online store in town so I decided to make a purchase. Read my beauty by freyja review here.
Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush review
I got my Real Techniques Kabuki Brush from freyja at only P650 + shipping fee. However, currently, it's sold out at freyja.
What I love about Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush:
It's multi-functional. I can use it in many ways: to contour, apply blush or loose powder, and even to highlight since the brush is angled.
It's versatile. It can be used with liquid, cream, or powder products!
Value for money - The price is just right for me—it's not too expensive yet it looks and feels premium.
Cruelty-free, fur-free, and vegan - Real Techniques is a cruelty-free beauty brand—their brushes are made of synthetic bristles yet the quality is almost the same with makeup brushes made from animal hair.
It's easy to clean. I've had several retractable brushes already, but they have been hard to clean. I make it a point to clean my makeup brushes thoroughly, but doing so always changes the quality of the bristles. They become coarse and frizzy. Some of them are also very hard to dry, and sometimes even leaves a kulob smell even if you let it air dry overnight. I didn't like those at all, so I ended up disposing of them instead.
But Real Techniques' Retractable Kabuki Brush is definitely the opposite of my previous retractable brushes, that's why I am so contented! I only bring two makeup brushes with me now: this and a dual-ended brow brush.
And lastly, I love how pink and chic this brush is! Need I say more? 😀
In case you're wondering, nope, this is not a sponsored post. I bought this with my own money. I'm so happy with my purchase that I decided to share it! If you're like me who's looking for the perfect retractable kabuki brush, then Real Techniques' Retractable Kabuki Brush is for you! I've had it for several months now, and I still love it! No regrets. Definitely a holy grail for me!
