Getting to Know Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla

Like what I’ve mentioned from my previous post, Governor Jonvic Remulla was the guest for the conference we attended a while ago. So I listened very well to what he was saying that time.

  • He studied grade school at De La Salle University - Taft: those are the days on which they still offer primary education accordingly.
  • He spent his high school years and graduated from Ateneo De Manila University.
  • From green to blue, and from blue to green—Governor Jonvic entered and graduated college at De La Salle University - Dasmarinas.
  • Binakayan Highway — which will be open to the public by January 2011. This will allow the people from Binakayan area to reach Manila at the least possible time with less traffic.
  • Circumferential Road
  • National Cavite International Airport (NCIA) — there will now be an airport located here in Cavite, which will use state of the art airport facilities. Plus, 6 km runways which is the required length of the airport for the present time.
  • Cavite-Laguna Road — which will make it easier for people from Laguna and Cavite to reach each other. It will be at Tanza area.

Governor Jonvic also shared more about his life.

For all those who don’t know, his full name is Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla. He is the elder brother of ex-ABS CBN reporter and Congressman, Gilbert Remulla. He said, Gilbert, is the most intelligent among all of their siblings, but, Gov. Jonvic is the most handsome. I guess he's not known as "Gov Pogi" for nothing?
