| Wanderland Music Festival 2019 Day 1: Two Door Cinema Club, Honne, Unique, and more |
This year’s edition is definitely a first for Wanderland Music Festival. On its seventh year, Karpos Multimedia has decided to throw a magical two-day music and art event to its loyal supporters.
Last March 9 and 10, all roads led to the Filinvest Events Grounds in Alabang, which is just less than an hour drive from the Philippines’ capital, Manila. All festival-goers were treated to a massive lineup that’s nothing short of magical.

It was really a jampacked event, and seriously, I couldn't have asked for more. And like all previous Wanderland Music Festivals, the team behind it thought of everything: food, activities, portalets, smoking area, and literally everything!
This was a creative space/photo wall by the Wanderland artists for all the festival-goers!
This was me in my day 1 outfit: IV of Spades bucket hat that I got from their album launch earlier this year, Anti-theft belt bag (which I wore as a fanny pack) from Travelon, basic shirt and black jeans, plus my favorite pair of boots (which you can also see in my about page.).
Here's my healthy and vegan meal for two days at Wanderland Music Festival! I found out about Greenery Kitchen here, followed them on Instagram and booked them for my meal plan since then! Switching to a meatless meal plan was a breeze because their food tastes amazing without the guilt! It also helped that I love tofu and I was never really a meat lover. 😅
They also had a nice photo booth! All we had to do was follow three social media accounts to get a print out of our pictures!

I love the neon signs, especially since it's all about inspiration and motivation.
And of course, I just had to have my picture taken here. Haha.

When we finally got a good spot, he started singing an acoustic version of "Mundo", which was popularized by his previous group: IV OF SPADES.

After Unique's set, the sister and I decided to roam around the event grounds first, chill a bit and enjoy good food. While eating, joan was already playing. I love them but I was just halfway done with my meal. I wouldn't wanna waste such good food so I just enjoyed the music while eating.
When we came back, it's time for Gabrielle Aplin already!

After a chill set by Gabrielle Aplin comes an electrifying one by SG Lewis and his gang all the way from UK!

And of course, after performing at last year’s Wanderland Music Festival albeit at a smaller stage, Honne returned to the bigger stage this year, co-headlining with Two Door Cinema Club.

The English duo graced us with their groovy but chill tunes which soothed and calmed our souls.

Performing with them is Rebeka Prance aka BEKA, to whom Honne had a collaboration called “Crying Over You”.

Despite their second time, Honne still hasn’t lost their charm as the audience sang to every single song, but most especially to “Day 1” (pun intended!), “Good Together”, “Warm on a Cold Night”, “Location Unknown”, and “Feels So Good”.

Headlining the first day was Northern Irish trio, Two Door Cinema Club, bringing back eargasmic hits such as “What You Know”, “Undercover Martyn”, “Changing of the Seasons”, and “Something Good Can Work”.

I finally got to witness them perform all my favorite songs live! They sound exactly the same as their recorded songs! I literally had to listen to their music again for a month after this! They're just that good

I think day 1 was meant to be chill, but upbeat with a mix of indie pop, acoustic and electronic tunes from local and international acts: Gabrielle Aplin (UK), JMSN (US), SG Lewis (UK), joan (US), Unique (PH), Reese Lansangan (PH), Charlie Lim (SG), Autotelic (PH), and Wanderband winner Intertwined (PH).
Wanderland Music Festival is more than just a music festival. It is an experience — a magical one at that, and one that you will definitely remember. I don’t know about you, but I sure will. Wanderland 2020, we can’t wait for you!
