I have always loved planners ever since I was in grade school. But most especially when I got into the retail industry. Working in retail, I have to multi-task and make the most out of my time. Now computers can be convenient, but for me, nothing beats writing important notes and your schedule into a planner.

Belle de Jour Power Planner 2015

I've been a Bella (Belle De Jour planner owners) for about 3 years until I fell in love with Starbucks Planner 2017 (Philippines)

You see, I love how interactive the BDJ planner is. On top of that, they even have an annual fair with activities, seminars, freebies, online contests and a whole lot more! However, as I got older, I preferred a much more simple and professional planner that's still functional.

And I found all that with the Starbucks 2018 Planner (Philippines)!

I got the Blue one with a Tan sleeve because it's more me. (Plus, it goes well with my tan bags and shoes. 😉)

Last year, Starbucks' planner comes with a friction pen and pouch which perfectly fit the planner.

For this year, however, they changed that to a leather sleeve. Sleek!

So instead of a friction pen, we got a ruler/stencil which will be perfect if you decide to try next-level journaling.

This year's planner comes with an exclusive Starbucks card inspired by their Kape Vinta blend.

I, however, do not have it, because I just bought this planner online. I'm not ashamed of it, because I am not a coffee lover. I won't be able to collect the stickers because I don't have a reason to go to Starbucks too. 😅

Also, another thing that made me switch is the layout. BDJ has a vertical layout, which makes it hard for me to take down notes. Starbucks' on the other hand, has a horizontal layout with a blank page next to it.

I found that the horizontal layout works best with me because I have a lot of notes to jot down. And having a vertical one is just too limiting for me. Take a look at my 2017 Starbucks planner.

Like other planners, Starbucks' planner also has several pages for your free-flowing thoughts.
